Automated bagging lines are an extremely efficient way of packing small-width products, with high throughput and a small footprint. Automated bagging machines provide high speed high quality solutions, often with a much lower cost per unit than other packing methods.

Types of Bagging

Manual Desktop Bagger

The manual desktop bag sealing machine is the next step-up from hand bagging, offering speed and quality to hand load applications. It is ideal for low to mid-volume packaging operations due to its compact design and ‘plug-and-play’ configuration.

 

Operating at speeds provide up to 25 bags per minute, the manual desktop bagger offers innovative engineering in a straightforward, tabletop design. This quiet, all-electric design does not require compressed air to run.

Large Manual Bagger

The manual desktop bagging machine is uniquely designed to provide enhanced packaging productivity for mail order fulfilment applications.

 

Capable of running bags up to 550 mm wide, this system features bag opening technology that securely grips and holds the open bag in place. This creates a large, square opening (up to 275 x 275 mm) that allows for easy loading of single or multi-line orders.

 

Next-bag-out printing is achieved with an advanced thermal transfer printer positioned directly over the next bag to be loaded. This ensures accuracy and efficiency in fulfilment applications that require frequent product and label changeovers, and prevents product queuing.

Automated Bagging (Length cutting only)

The automated bagging machine is designed for fully automatic packaging. Combined with a centre folded film, the film packaging machine produces a packaging that is sealed on two sides (front and back).

 

The automated bagging machine is able to process up to 30 orders per minute. By means of permanently heated sealing systems, all commercially available films, from polyethylene to polyolefin and PVC films, can be processed in this film packaging machine.

 

This automated bagging machine is designed for products of a similar size/ shape to be bagged. This bagging machine is capable of bagging product up to 500mm width product and technically “unlimited” length.

Automated Bagging (Length and width cutting)

The automated bagging machine is designed for fully automatic packaging. Combined with a centre folded film, the film packaging machine produces a packaging that is sealed on three sides (front, back and left side).

 

The automated bagging machine is able to process up to 30 orders per minute. By means of permanently heated sealing systems, all commercially available films, from polyethylene to polyolefin and PVC films, can be processed in this film packaging machine.

 

This bagging machine is capable of bagging larger products up to 750mm width product and “unlimited” length.

Shrink Wrapping

The shrink wrapping machine is a good solution for low-cost, simple and quick to seal products.

 

Shrink wrapping machines can come as semi-automatic or fully automatic units. Shrink wrapping machines come in 3 sections, the sealing unit, the heating unit and the cooling system.

 

The output of a shrink wrapping machine is up to 15 packs per minute depending on the model and is compliant with food regulations and CE regulations.

Flow Wrapping

Flow wrapping is a horizontal-motion process in which product of any shape is wrapped in clear or printed polypropylene film. The end result is a flexible package with a non-lap type seal on the bottom and crimped end seals.

 

Good flow-wrappers get the film tightly around the product to minimise product shift within the package and minimise the “tails” on the product as they make case-packing more difficult.

 

Flow wrapping machines are capable of wrapping up to 150 units per minute.

Spiral Wrapping

Spiral wrapping machines wrap products by continually rotating around the product (and through the middle of round products e.g. tyres and tubes).

 

Spiral wrapping machines are ideal for wrapping both long products and ring-shaped products – making them an ideal solution for the construction, engineering and industrial sectors.
